AUS Welcomes The Fall 2018 Class Student Orientation

American University of St.Vincent School of Medicine hosted its Fall 2018 New Student Orientation on September 7th at the campus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Dr. Henson, Dean of Student Affairs welcomed all of the students and guest who were in attendance. She presented information on student life at AUS and life in the Island.  Providing a full understanding to the students with the help of local representatives, who gave the students the basic knowledge they would need to live in St. Vincent and pursue their studies successfully. The students responded positively as to what to expect moving forward in their medical careers with excitement.

The new incoming students were also introduced to: a representatives from Island Safety and Traffic Laws, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, Fire Department, tourism, telecommunication /cell phones- DIGICEL & FLOW. These individuals provided key information about the Island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in addition to assisting the new students with needed information on how to adjust to their new living environment. AUS is appreciative to all that made the Fall 2018 New Student Orientation a great success!
